Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Bagdogra To Phunsoling

Our Chauffer will received you from Bagdogra airport. Depart for Phuntsholing (Bhutan) and take rest in hotel and later have dinner outside.

Overnight stay in Phuntsholing.

Day 2: Phuntsholing – Paro(160 kms)

After breakfast, do immigration formalities and start your journey visiting Phuntsholing Crocodile Zoo& Lhakang on the way at Rinchending.

After reaching hotel, refresh and then go for sightseeing toplaces like Drukgyel Dzong, Kyichu Lhakang, and Rinpung Dzong which means for tress of heap of jewels.

Overnight stay in Paro

Day -3-Paro

Morning breakfast and move early to hike to Taktshang Monastry (Tiger Nest) which is 3000 ft from sea level. You are advised to carry some food items and water while going there.

Enjoy the day with hike and beautiful views truly enjoying the beauty of the nature.

Once you are done with hike, take a drop to hotel.

Take rest and it’s your day further to take a stroll and visit the local market.

Dinner outside and Overnight stay at the hotel in Paro.

Day 4: Paro – Punakha (140 kms)

Morning breakfast and start early with few left over sightseeing and on the way you can visit the Monastery called ( Gonchen Monastery).

Move towards Punakha and on the way visit Dochula pass.

Reach Punakha take rest in the hotel. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day-5-Punakha- Thimphu

Morning breakfast and after that start journey with sight seen visiting Punakha Dzong and see the beauty of the place divided by two rivers call Pho chhu and Mochhu.

There after we move towards Thimphu. Check in and take rest in Hotel and evening visit local market.

Overnight stay in Thimnphu.

Day 6: Thimphu

Morning breakfast and start day with visiting Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), National Memorial Chorten (Monument) and Folk Heritage Museum, visit textile museum.

It’s your rest time or leisure time thereafter. Overnight stay in Thimphu

Day 7: Thimpu -Bagdogra

By 5:00 am, check out and depart for Bagdogra. (BF can be taken along the way since hotel Kitchen opens only after 7 am).

Trip concludes with a drop at Bagdogra Airport.

The Kira is the national dress for women in Bhutan. It is an ankle-length dress consisting of a rectangular piece of woven fabric. It is wrapped and folded around the body and is pinned at both shoulders, usually with silver broaches, and bound at the waist with a long belt which is known as a Kera. The Kira is usually worn with a long-sleeved blouse inside known as Wonju and a short jacket or Tego. The men wear aknee-length robe called the Gho tied at the waist by a cloth belt known as the Kera.
