After a bit of leisure checkout of your houseboat and depart for Son marg” the meadow of gold” – Located to the north- east of Srinagar at an altitude of 3000 mts above sea level. The place offers incredible scenic beauty (while driving to Sonmarg) of dense pine forests & Gigantic mountain.

The drive is all about exploring the natural beauty which has famed Srinagar to be the Paradise on Earth.

This day is kept relaxed to give you the tempo to take on longer driving conditions from the following day on wards. This day’s drive is also very scenic and you may want to take numerous halts to encapsulate the natural beauty and for photography.

Post breakfast, you may proceed to Kargil. The idea is to relax and enjoy the ride.

This day’s drive will take you through Zoji-la. This stretch of road between Sonmarg and Zoji-la is going to be difficult but exciting and full of views which will keep you awed. Observe how the landscapes change.

Also, visit the Kargil War Memorial at Drass before you reach Kargil for Night Halt.

The real Ladakh region begins from this day. Beyond Kargil, the landscapes are inspiring. You will pass through the Lunar Landscapes, followed by Fotula Top- the highest pass in this stretch. Further ahead, you will reach ‘Magnetic Hill’- which is believed to be opposing gravity and has magnetic powers. Further, reach Leh by late afternoon, evening and Check in at the hotel.

In the evening, you may proceed for a local town walk or stroll to explore the little town to Leh.

Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.

The idea is to stay at the same altitude to ensure you have acclimatized well before taking on to the higher altitudes. It is very essential and worth staying to keep you comfortable. Not many spend sufficient time at Leh and usually cut short their stay at Leh, thereby being vulnerable to what we call “AMS”- Altitude Mountain Sickness.

Today we spend some time on sightseeing of the town.

Spare some time at Shanti Stupa, Leh City Palace and City Monastery.

Evening can be spent enjoying street food.

Leave after breakfast for full day excursion to Pangong Lake (Pangong Tso).

Start early morning for Pangyong Lake. A drive of 175 Kms. You will be passing through mysterious roads leading you through Changla- Third highest motor-able pass of the world.

Visit the world famous Pangong Lake.

Drive back to Leh and on your way visit the Thiksey Monastery.

Another evening for you to spend some time at leisure explore the town.

Evening at Leisure. Next Morning, you will be taken on to the highest motor able road of the world- Khardung-la.

Early morning prepare to leave for Hunder via Zanskar valley and Khardungla- The highest Motor-able pass of the World. Visit one of the largest statues of Lord Buddha in Ladakh at Diskit.

Enjoy Camel Safari on Double humped Camel on the Sand Dunes of Hunder Desert.

Next Morning, check out of the hotel and drive back to Leh.

With another stopover at Khardung-la and enjoying the most fascinating views that you will see along the way.

Overnight stay at Leh. Evening is free for Leisure and shopping.

Next day, you will be checking out and flying back to home. Take a nostalgic tour of the city if you wish to.

Prepare for your return journey to Delhi. Tour concludes with a drop at Leh Airport.

Our Tour officially ends as above- but in case you may want to spare more time, below are two options for one or two day program as per your requirement.

Spend your day taking on the adventure side of the trip. Enjoy a day out rafting at Zanskar River. Rafting would be a whole day venture and return to hotel by evening.
In the morning after breakfast, you will be taken for a Rafting Expedition.
Our vehicle will pick you and drive you to the rafting pickup point. From there, you will be drive in a group to the rafting site. Lunch will be served post rafting and you will be dropped at the point where dropped or en-route to your hotel.
You can take a leisure walk back to your hotel (which would be less than a kilometer).

After breakfast we proceed for the sightseeing of 1000 year old Alchi monastery the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. Thereafter proceed to the Liker Monastery to visit the splendid three stories Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here youll be awestruck with the sight of the massive Buddha statues.
See the Indus & Zanskar river Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity).
