Few places like Chandanwari Temple/Aroo Valley in Pahalgam & Khilanmarg in Gulmarg are out of bound for Outstation Taxis hence for visiting these areas Guests need to hire local Jeep directly.
Shikara ride at Dal Lake, Gondola Ride at Gulmarg , Horse Ride to be paid directly to the concern person/Govt. Authority.
A recent Government notification requires guests to present proof of identity at the time of check in. Guests are requested to carry with them the required document during their travel.
No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable. Room allocation is done by the hotel depending upon availability at the time of check-in.
Guest to carry Identity proof of all the passengers travelling.
It’s a normal practice in Srinagar for Taxi Operators to end their services by 7pm. If possible, kindly free the taxi by 7pm or prepare return by this time. This is to ensure enough rest to the driver.

Dal Lake:

Thiscould well be Srinagars lifeline and the favorite site of all honeymooners.Get onboard one of the shikaras to go around the lake. Along the shoreline isthe boulevard that is home to numerous shops, hotels, gardens and parks.

Khirbhawani:

It’s locally referred to as the spring which changes its colour from time to time. It’s at a distance of about 14 km from Srinagarand is one quiet place you would find in Srinagar.
Before we enter the main islet to have Darshana of the holy spring of Bhawaniwe come across two important sites – one is Ziarat of Mir Baba Haider and the other is the Samadhi of Shri Labhu Shah, a saint who lived some 150 years agoin Kashmir.

ManasbalLake:

It’s located about 30 km north of Srinagar. It has predominantly rural surroundings with three villages, Kondabal, Jarokbal and Gratbal overlooking the lake. It is the deepest lake of Kashmir valley and perhaps the only one that develops stable summer stratification.

JamaMasjid:

Definitely one of the most active mosques in Srinagar, Jami Masjid owes its origin to 3 Mughal rulers. It is also created in wood and is noted for its 370towering pillars supporting the roof, each pillar made of one deodar tree truck! Enter the mosque through its south gate and take a walk through the spacious green garden.

Hari Parbat Fort:

Another Mughal construction, it stands on the hill by the same name and command san awesome view of the city. It speaks the legend of how the demon Jalodbhava was crushed under this hill, when Goddess Sati dropped a pebble on his head,which expanded to become the massive Hari Parbat. As such it is also home to several religious shrines, including the shrine of Makhdum Sahib. Located a little away from this is the Masjid of Akhund Mullah built in limestone. So revered is this site that locals believe that over 30 crores Hindu Gods and Goddesses reside here!

ShankaracharyaTemple:

Located on the Shankaracharya Hill, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva andis accessible by a flight of stairs. It overlooks the Kashmir Valley and it sinner sanctum has Persian inscriptions. The original dome-shaped ceiling hasbeen replaced by a more modern ceiling.

Shalimar Bagh:

Built by Jehangir for his wife Nur Jehan, Shalimar Garden is a wonderful combination of gardens and lakes. It has four terraces, rising above each other as steps and has a canal, built with polished stones, that is supplied water from the Harwan.

Harwan:

Located near the Harwan Village, this garden has remnants dating to the Buddhist era. The or namentedtiles placed here have depictions of the attire of people, as trousers, capsand turbans.

NishatBagh:

Located on the banks of the Dal Lake againt the Zabarwan Mountains, NishatBagh, or Garden of Bliss, is known for its panoramic views of the Pir PanjalRange.

ChasmaShahi:

Originally designed by Shah Jehan, Chasma Shahi is a strikingly made terrace garden commanding superb views of the Dal Lake and the mountains nearby. Thecool spring water flowing here is believed to be extremely refreshing.

PariMahal:

This was at one time the Royal Observatory. Located next to Chashma Shahi, itis a well-laid out garden, located almost on the ridge of the mountainsoverlooking the Dal Lake. Visit it at night when it is brilliantly illuminated.

PratapSingh Museum:

Located in Lal Mandi, this museum houses an interesting collection of Kashmiriexhibits, including the illustrated tiles found near Harwan.

WularLake:

Believed to the largest freshwater lake in Asia, the Wular Lake changes itscharacter every few miles! The Jhelum River flows into the lake, traversesabout 40 kms along Srinagar and then flows out again.

Gulmarg:

More than the place, it is the journey to Gulmarg that will woo you – roads lined with poplars overlookrice terraces. Gulmarg is not just a mountain resort, it is a high golf courseand one of the best ski resorts in the country. En route to Gulmarg, stop atthe View Point,so called because of the panoramic views of the snow-clad mountains that it offers.

Pahalgam:

Located at the confluenceof the Lidder and Sheshnag Rivers, Pahalgam literally translates into The Valleyof the Shepherds. It is a cool mountain resort with wonderful picnic spots, themost popular being the pine-clad Baisaranand Hajan.Explore Pahalgam on horseback, enjoy a session of golf at the Clubor try your hand at angling at the Lidder River.

Sonamarg:

Literally meaning The Meadow of Gold, Sonamarg is set against the backdrop of snow-clad mountains.The Sindh River that meanders through it is one of the best places to catch the trout and mahaseer. Sonamarg forms the base for trekking enthusiasts looking to traverse through the mountain lakes Vishansar, Kishansar, Gadsar, Satsar and Gangabal.

TRAVEL ITINERY:

Day 1

SRINAGAR:

On arrival at Srinagar- transfers to your Hotel. Afternoon enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal lake.

Visit Char Chinar. Floating vegetable gardens and see some handicraft demonstration- All at Dal Lake.

Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

SRINAGAR LOCAL SITESEEING + KHIRBHAWANI-MANSABAN LAKE

After Breakfast, leave for local sightseeing tour to famous Nishat Garden known as Garden of pleasure built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal Emperor Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as Garden of love built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa) also visit Chashme Shahi Later visit to famous Pari Mahal, Shankaracharya temple situated on top of a hill where you can have a view of whole Srinagar City. Later you can visit the world famous Tulip garden in Srinagar. Enjoy shopping at Kashmiri craft & art stores. Dinner & overnight at Srinagar.

If time Permits-

Start on your journey towards a lesser known Marvel of Kashmir-The mysterious holy spring of Khir Bhawani and Manasabal Lake.

Day 3

SRINAGAR- SONMARG- SRINAGAR (82*2Kms.)

Leave after breakfast for full day excursion to Sonmarg” the meadow of gold” located at an altitude of 3000 mts. Above sea level.

The place offers incredible scenic beauty (while driving to Sonmarg) of dense pine forests & Gigantic mountain. Evening return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4

SRINAGAR- GULMARG (56 Kms.)

Leave after breakfast for full day excursion to Gulmarg” meadow of wild flower” lies in the west of Srinagar at a distance of 56 kms. On an altitude of 2730 mts. above sea level, snow-capped mountain are all around one can even have a view of Nanga Parbat on a clear sunny day. It is premier winter sports ski resorts for skiers with one of the world’s highest 18 hole golf courses. For joy seekers, cable car presently up to Khilanmarg is operational and is Asia long running cable car ride running approximately 5 kms.

After your excursion, return to your hotel where you can enjoy Dinner & relax overnight at hotel.

Day 5

Gulmarg – Pahalgam (140 km /4½ hrs)

After quick breakfast- transfer by road to Pahalgam- Valley of Shepherds. Enroute you will have a rare opportunity to visit the Saffron fields. Also visit Avantipura Ruins & Anantnag Sulpher Springs enroute, Arrive and proceed to your hotel by late afternoon.

Visit Chandanwadi

The snow Point (14 Km)

Enjoy pony ride at your own cost

Or be at leisure to explore the countryside and enjoy leisurely walks through the pine forest along the River Lidder.

Day 6

Pahalgam – Depart Srinagar

After breakfast Check out from the hotel and transfer to Srinagar airport to connect on wards destination flight.

Please leave for airport at-least 6 hours before the check-in time. Security checks in Srinagar are strict and time taking.
